Phelps Creek Clean Up
Be a part of SOLV's Down by the Riverside Event and help remove trash from a local waterway. On Saturday, May 17, a clean up will occur on Phelps Creek in Hood River from 9 am to 12 pm. The portion of Phelps Creek to be cleaned is located on Country Club Rd. Tasty snacks, gloves, and other equipment will be provided to volunteers. Wildflower Show, Native Plant Society of Oregon
The Mid-Columbia chapter of the Native Plant Society of Oregon (NPSO) will present its annual wildflower show from Sunday, April 20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in the center of Mosier, Oregon.
Make the wildflower show part of your mid-Columbia blossom tour. The show displays a wide range of blooming and non-blooming plants to help you understand what you might see. The members of the local NPSO chapter are happy to answer your native-plant questions and suggest wildflower drives and hikes.

Is your favorite river reach healthy? During the workshop we’ll learn how to identify key plants, birds, animal tracks and water quality indicators, as well as how to respond to threats like oil spills or zebra mussels. River Watch volunteers regularly document wildlife, and work with partners like SOLV to organize trash pick-ups and river restoration. Bring the whole family!
Craig Carothers Concert
Craig Carothers will perform Monday Night, March 17th at 7:30 pm in a home concert in White Salmon WA. Hosted by Doug and Patti Miller, their house is on Eyrie Road, #107. Open to the general public, tickets are $15 at the door, or you can call and reserve tickets. Tickets limited to sixty.
Craig will have CD's available for purchase and signing.
Back Country Horsemen monthly meeting
